| Premise of Current Novel | Current Series: Belle Pole, a young woman emboldened by the murder of her parents, becomes a private investigator in the small town where they died, learning secrets and gradually building a life there. When tough times hit the economy, Belle sees her bottom dollar suffer. It is in no small part to the cute new P.I. that moves in with cheap prices and a more pleasant demeanor. But when they are both assigned to investigate the disappearance of a well-off, well-respected man, Belle never could have expected the town would believe this new P.I. enough to jail Belle for the crime. |
