Actually, Karim stole borrowed a torch from the wall so it’s not really dark… )

Karim turned the corner and stopped short, there was a guy with black hair standing in front of him.

“Who are you…” The dark-haired young man seemed unsure of himself.

“Oh. Hi! I’m Karim. Do you know where we are? And who are you anyway?” Karim’s free hand strayed towards the back of his belt where his weapon was, just in case. Then, before the guy in front of him could answer, another boy came around a corner.

“Do you know where the old throne room is?”

Karim shook his head. “The whatnow?”
