@princess-foo Oooh–I’d never realized that Iron Man fall parallel before. That’s really neat!

My take on what the film was implying was that time travel didn’t change the past–it just created alternate timelines (hence, the Ancient One’s speech). That’s why they couldn’t just kill Baby Thanos or anything–the shenanigans they caused with Loki, Thanos’ removal from the timeline, and the SHIELD agents just create separate realities, not a changed past. Course then they threw the old-Cap thing in there and that kind of messes it up. :/
