@writercatherine Oh my woooord. That’s priceless.
@silverclaw-bonnetfolly Ooooh, cool! (And go girl! That’s a lot of words in a day. I average about 1700.)
@esjohnson Woot! Keep it up! Is this more on Talisman? Your Pinterest board there is so insane.
@steward-of-the-pen Nice, and keep it up! (Haha, to be fair, I’m spending 6 hours a day at school doing creative writing. Only problem is all of the schoolwork has to be edited and refined. So time consuming.) And great snippet!
@julia XD That is great! *sips chai possessively*
So, NaNo is on : 31 227
Total is : 39 850
We’re getting there guys!
My favourite part in this lot is:
Opia leant forward, pushing aside the holo-doc. “Ty. Sometimes you need to do…unpleasant things for the good of others. That’s just the way of things.”
No. No it isn’t. I pressed a fist against my forehead, trying to block Opia’s words out—so similar to Sharlo’s. Using each other’s logic to kill each other with a clean conscious.
So why couldn’t I do the same? Why couldn’t I just use that logic? It had to be right…didn’t it?
A hand touched my arm and I flinched away. “I can’t,” my voice came out in a strangled gasp, “I can’t help you.”
Her eyes widened and she backed away. A pressure built up in my throat and I tore my gaze away, turning to stride out.
Time to tell Sharlo my decision:
If neither side was going to relent, then I was starting my own.
(Welp. More than a sentence, but none of the lines are great by themselves.)
Everyone is doing so well! We may have this, guys! *throws confetti* GO PARIMI ALCA!!!!
