My one thing to suggest changing up  bit, was the laughing. It felt a bit strange and disconnected, and you drew a fair bit of attention to it by using lots of different types. (Snicker, giggle, etc) Maybe revise with less?

Over all though, EEEP! YOU DID A PROLOGUE! YAAAY! *throws confetti over you.*
