Thank you! I’m not sure what I can do for tips, I am just winging it half the time. I’d say don’t be afraid to use references, and it helps to understand the basic shapes and proportions of people and creatures. As for the design, like the traits and colors themselves, figure out what you want someone to think or gather from this character at a glance.

I’ll try that next time. Less thinking, more winging! (maybe about 60% thinking and 40% winging compared to 80% thinking and 20% winging XD)
