@kiraelizabeth I can see how that would be traumatic for an eight-year-old. However, I’m not sure I understand why he wants to hide his pain. I can see the cause of the hurt, but why does he hide it? Why doesn’t he want anyone’s help? Does he think no one cares? Was he raised that way?
