Did you say catan?? If I ever get to meet you in person, we need to play!!! Just… Warning ahead of time… I have a favorite knight in the card deck. My family knows that I adore that knight, the Scandinavian blonde one. I’m going to base a character in my book off of him..
Have you ever played nine-square before? Can’t do volleyball or really any other type of ball, but nine-square is awesome.
O.K. I totally get it… I had a bit of a fear thing going on a while back where I couldn’t walk around in the dark without a light. I won’t go into it, but it was scary. Around the time of the whole chivalry conversation way back when. I was sleeping in the basement of our Ohio house, and it is pitch black on the way to the bathroom down there… I had to play harp music at bedtime because some nights I couldn’t close my eyes I was so nervous. You are good, have no worries!! And we do have a huge guard dog, that does help… Otherwise I’d be terrified of hogs and cyotes (I do not know how to spell that…) and if I hear them howling, I make a run for the indoors.
The quote thing? I am still super pleased with it… and beware because I may keep my eye out for other SE quotes to make. 😉 Love you back Anne!!!
I agree with that so much, I love talking to guys, I love the way their minds work and like I said, I like talking to people who are stronger than me. I have my dad, younger brother, and three guys I would call my friends (that are around my age). The rest I know are just guys I wouldn’t call my friends, like, they’re family friends, or I’m friends with their sister, but not with them. Then there’s an older guy (as in white hair) who I would call a friend, and through this year there has been a very long thing going where if he is present, I am not allowed to open the door for myself… and this past week I broke my promise that I would not open the door… XD But yes, I really wish that I had more guy friends around my age…
Just to clarify though, if I was actually in danger, I know of a lot of guys that I believe would step in to help because it is in their character to do so, but otherwise are not my friends… Like, would probably skate on if I fell on the ice rink unless it was impolite to do so. At most probably just ask if I was O.K. if I was right in front of them when it happened because it’s polite.
BTW, that is one thing I want to learn in college… how to ice skate. they have an indoor ice rink there, and I hope I may break myself of some of my clumsiness on it. Or I’ll just break myself on it!! XD
YOU PLAY THE ORGAN?? What?? I don’t like the organ, but it sounds fun to play… And I am actually wearing a cloak as I am writing… Over my athletic shirt and wind pants, it really does look ridiculous.
I cast my vote in as well, somebody please shoot auto-correct (I’m quoting the Tolkien Friend, actually… during a night of ridiculous texting)?
What scared you about it (if you don’t mind sharing)? What movie was it?
Aww, that is special!!! I love that you use that form of expression as a way of praising the Lord, that is seriously really, really neat. I dance around when I am alone at night or if I am with a select few people and hear music that suddenly makes me want to fly. I pretty much only dance at night, whether that’s outside, in the kitchen after the lights go out, or in my bedroom, but I’m on the second floor… Thump! Thump! Thump!! My brother told me to quit dancing when he should be sleeping. XD
