Thanks everybody for the warm welcome! I’m so glad to be here! *throws sparkles and stardust*
@christlover (and anybody else who cares to know random things about me :P)
I don’t really listen to songs (being more of a classical music person) but my favorite classical piece is probably The Lark by Glinka/Balakirev. Look it up. It’s pure genius.
I love anything by Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Frank Peretti, Dumas…I could go on but I’ll spare you. Quotes would be by those same authors, and this one by G.K. Chesterton, “Do not be so open-minded that your brains fall out.”
Once upon a time, I had a betta fish named Cornelia that died, and I kidnapped a hermit crab from the ocean that was also named Cornelia and that also died. I haven’t had any pets since their traumatizing deaths. 😛
I am the middle child squished between two brothers, and all of us speak Vietnamese, some more fluently than others. Little brother and I swim competitively and are one belt away from black belt in Taekwondo, which is very exciting. I’m also a 15 year old homeschooler, living in Somewheresville, Texas. 😉
Funnily enough, I have a peculiar talent of being able to untie any knot. String, rope, and yarn knots, that is, because my story plot knots are (for the moment) hopelessly tangled. *sighs*
It’s hard to pick a funny scene because I think my MC and her siblings are hilarious, but I recently re-read one of my chapters and I found this sentence rather amusing. “I’d expected many challenges in my quest to heal an enchanted forest, but a giant earthworm was not one of them.”
What’s one of your funny scenes?
You tutor math?!! Am I not the only rare individual who likes writing and math?
@anne_the_noob14 – I like Sherlock Holmes too! Do you have a favorite case?
@steward-of-the-pen – Lol, thanks for respecting me and my intense dislike of chocolate. You’re one of the few. 😛 Aw, parrotlets are so cute! I’ve always wanted a pet bird. Is Blu easy to take care of?
In the rare occasions that I’m not reading or writing in my spare time, I like swimming, composing music, and doing archery (though I haven’t been doing that much recently because all but two of my arrows are broken. Oops.)
@ariella-newheart – Wow, that story sounds so interesting! I foresee Ariella going through some rough times. 😛 It’s in your own fantasy world, right?
