    1. I’m not the only one out there!! That’s been the biggest change, because I didn’t have any accountability or encouragement from anyone, so that’s really altered things for me. Story Embers has been eye-opening.

    This was pretty much my experience too! So glad that I’ve found some writing friends and Story Embers too.

    Go you for applying for a internship at Story Embers! I would have been scared out of my mind.

    And, shout out to everybody, you should go check out his story. I don’t feel like my critique did it justice…

    I wish there were more clean intellectual stories. If you guys know of any, let me know.

    The future is the last thing you should ever worry about, because it sabotages your joy in the present, which leads to problems in the future, which is just a self-fulfilling prophecy. Surrender the ‘right’ to shape your life how you think it should go. Again. And again. And again. 😛

    Oh my goodness! OH. MY. GOODNESS! I am so mortified right now…I can’t believe this. I seriously thought for the longest time, that you were like a fifteen or sixteen year old girl!😮 I had no idea you were married? I am so sorry. It was really dumb because your signature says your married…wow, this is so embarrassing.

    Okay, um…well to answer your question. How do I work at improving my writing?

    I try to be very teachable…keeping my mind open, listening to more experienced writer’s and learning from what they have to say.

    I also read a lot. I’ve heard that’s a good thing for writers to do. I also want to write more. Like lots, lots, lots more. They say that you learn to write by writing…so. 😉

    2018 was a crazy year. 😀

    About a million story ideas, beginnings, and snippets. Okay, maybe not a million, but a lot.
