Jefe smiled sterilely at the two lab tables in front of him. Both were under with the special medication he had created that calmed the patients down to being practical dolls. Nurses filtered into the room, and Jefe nodded at each when they presented each drug that he had requested. these medications would alter the appearance of the women to fit the requirements for a debutante.

He turned to the door, staring hatefully at the small portal behind it. It was a simple tear in the time continuum, small and hidden on the other side, but Jefe hated that he couldn’t shut it. The Alpha connected to the Hybrid would be looking for her soon, and that would be terrible.

“Come on, people, we have to do this fast or else you guys won’t get paid,” he called to the nurses, turning back to the tables,  “Get the drips ready for the substances that are thinner and the syringes for the thicker ones. I want to check each and every one of them.”

As the orderlies were doing their jobs, Jefe took up a clipboard for the redhaired Irishwoman and checked down the list of her imperfections. Hair was too short, freckles too pronounced. She was also too thick with too much muscle tissue. and that jewel. Beautiful, but too large. He nodded at the head nurse for this woman, then turned to the Hybrid.

Her clipboard was so long they needed two pages. Hair too long, fur on her ears was dull and oily. Teeth were neglected. Sunburn. Malnourishment.

This one would be difficult.
