She butted her head on Delton’s leg, giving a small, foxlike yip. He looked down at her with confusion in his face.

“What do you want?” he asked as Rei scratched his leg. She nipped his jeans pantleg and tugged Delton to the door. We have to leave. 

After dragging Delton to the door, Rei scratched it. He looked down and crouched to her level.

“We need to leave?”
