Colorado pushed me behind him and quickly swiped the dimensional portal away and into green sparks. He wielded his bow staff, flashing a few symbols and making his deep blue magic drip in the air. A protective shield pulled Jake behind Col as well, but only encircled Kor and Eiri, not pulling them back, but protecting them all the same.

I mirrored Colorado’s actions with Jake, and reinforced his shield with my own.

“Who are you, and are you hostile in any way?”
