There is pioneering work being done by an Australian Scientist name Dr. Barry Setterfield [a Christian man] on the well-founded implications that what physicists have traditionally thought was “the Divine Constant” the “speed of light” ( 300 000 km/s [299 792 458 meters per second] or 186 000 mi/s) is NOT constant, but actually has been proven to…[Read more]

Hi Lizzie,
So how did “Lucy’s” day begin to go south? How did you first begin to indicate something was going wrong?
If a potential reader was walking through a book store and happened to pick up your book from the shelf, and open to the first page, what lines would you use to hook them in to keep reading? Do you have any examples…[Read more]

After a few not quite satisfying starts of my most complete WIP, I finally settled on putting my first scene, POV character into hot water as quickly as possible. The 911 dispatcher was already on the line as the character was in the process of climbing out the window onto the fire escape. I took the advice of Les Edgerton and wasted no time in…[Read more]

Lol.
Mine usually begin like a normal story. Lucy (my MC) gets home and everything is normal.

I am curious, for all my fellow Mystery/Suspense/Thriller Writers out there, how do you begin your stories of this type? Are you willing to share some of your personal examples of your opening lines from a WIP that you use to grab a reader’s attention?
Here are a few that I have used in some stories:
1. Lost, alone, cold, wet, tired and no one…[Read more]

@winter_rose there’s been some developments XD
for when she’s older, her lightsaber has an open crystal chamber, so that her kyber crystal is visible.
The reason is that her kyber is called the Sorian crystal. The crystal itself reflects light in a way that looks similar to fire, and when used as a lightsaber, it’s blade would produce a surge…[Read more] -

@winter_rose I was actually talking to a friend about this the other day.
I’d like y’all to experiment with clothing, with both a mix of Kanan and Hera. I think her headpiece would be very similar to Hera but with something Kanan-y maybe? I can see blue, but honestly idk how good that would look Lolol
when she’s 15-15 age:
“You know like ho…[Read more] -

So, what sort of outfit should she be wearing? And also, does she have something like Hera’s twi’lek head covering?

yep. Doing her as a nine year old should just be her standing there, I know her facial features with be a bit demanding.
However if you would also like to do her around 14 years old, then I’d like her standing with a Rebel Pilot helmet under one arm and a blue lightsaber in her other hand, with Kanan’s lightsaber hanging from her utility bel…[Read more]

She does have a name. Several actually. Depending on where she is and who she’s with she’s had to go under pseudonyms.
Her real name is Depa-Billaba Nima Jarrus.
And eventually you will meet her in my fanfic. Whenever we eventually get to the Rebellion era. I do try to stay as canon as possible but I couldn’t help but add this…[Read more] - Load More
