Knaphollow brings to mind lush, old-growth woodland, picnics beneath the trees and hobbit-style adventures. Protagonist A is actually a wolf and rather young, ranging from 1-2 1/2 years over the course of the novel. She’s at the peak of her reckless adolescence, and a little overadventerous. It does have a lot of language, but we watched it with VidAngel so it was all muted! I’m not a fan of thriller or have much of a stomach for violence so I found it difficult to watch at times, but the plot and characters are both amazing and it does a good job of being very, very engaging.
