Megyn stumbled down the forest-flanked road, numb with the cold and the pain. Miles and miles of travel were wearing her thin. And all of those miles and been lonely. Especially ever since-

She shook the thought of him away. It’s too painful to think about him. Since I miss him-

Biting her lip, she tried stay on her feet. Though bandaged, the traveling had worn the cloth down. Dirt had gathered the folds. And now they’re infected  . . . again. 

Minutes slipped into hours as she wandered on.
