Tyler walks over to where the two girls are, quickly loading his pistol. He wasn’t sure if there were any more Scimblins or not. While Sage tends to the injured girl, Tyler keeps watch, both pistols out, ready for another attack. Suddenly a sound behind them causes him to whirl around. A girl with black glossy hair runs towards the group. Tyler levels his gun, not sure whether or not to say anything. His finger slides across the trigger as he waits to see what is to come.

Aria, pretty name. Damian shifts a little, turning the rabbit. She reminded him of an older version of Leila, an eagle hybrid from back home. Speaking of home, where were they? He sighs and takes a seat on a small boulder. He looks up, not sure of what to say. Aria sat staring at the rabbit and looking hungry. He cocks his head a little to the side. He had to admit, she was- No! He shakes his head. He couldn’t, not again. His mind fills with the voice that had haunted his memories for years. “Please! I-I can’t stand it anymore!” The agonizing look as she clutched his arm… 

“NO!” he yells jumping up from his seat, his claws extended. He breathes heavily as he looks frantically around. Aria sits, looking wide eyed at his sudden exclamation. Shaking, he takes a seat again. Lucien was right. Everyone around him gets hurt. He wouldn’t let the same thing happen to Aria.
