@sir-leeds *grins* Pleasure’s all mine! *shakes hand vigorously* Well, I figure if I end up in jail, I should probably know who the people are I’d call to bail me out. XD

Oh, man, writing ruts are no fun at all! I’ve kind of been in a bit of one myself regarding my short story competition piece. So, that’s one thing I’m quote unquote working on. It is untitled, but the continuation of a short story prequel I wrote called The Little Fairy. Long story short, it’s a high fantasy story about two fairies, an elf, a man who walks with stars, a dragon, and some other cool creatures. 😀

The other thing I’ve been working on is in the same world, but…underwater. Currently Untitled Mermaid is a story about two mermaids who escape an invasion in their village, travel across the sea to find help, and run into a bit of trouble on the way. I’ve been working on this one longer, so I’ve got more work done in the world, on the characters, and on the plot than I do for the fairy story.

Wow, that sounds complex for a poem. Have you ever thought about trying it as a short story?
