I completely relate about your “baby”. Lol. Right now mine is one that’s been marinating for like six years. I’ve rewritten the beginning way too many times, but right now I’m actually working on the plot for once. I’m getting excited about it! But first I’m kinda doing a trial run with my mystery so I can see how things go before I start my “masterpiece”. 😆
