@steward-of-the-pen Well, my idea is definitely unusual. Nobody could top this. Basically, when I was between 4 and 5, my parents took the family on a trip to Minneapolis, MN. We were going to see family, as well as a Twins game. Well, on the way out of the stadium, and at the airport as well, (two separate occasions) we had to ride these trains, or tramways, whatever you call them, to our hotel and the airport. Both times, at each stop that wasn’t our own, I tried jumping off because I wanted to look important like all the grownups passing through! I almost made it, but people shouted each time and my dad jerked me back just before the doors closed on me. I didn’t realize that being a young girl alone in a train station on a Friday night in Minneapolis is the perfect recipe for getting kidnapped and sold on the streets, or worse. Nevertheless, it’s one of my favorite memories of one of the times I came closest to having a book-worthy adventure. What if we narrated something like that?
