We live just down the street from a lake (literally), but all the good beaches are a couple minutes away. We don’t swim as much as I’d like, there’s a lot of younger kids in my family who don’t know how to swim yet, so we have to watch them.
Hockey is awesome. We mostly play street-hockey in our boots, but we’ve also had home-made rinks a couple years. I’m not very good at skating (when I see kids half my age zipping around as fast as me…backwards😆), maybe decent. We don’t do it as much as I’d like (it’s always a big deal to go places with the whole family).
Funny thing, we thought we were bad at skating, until we were down in Virginia one time, and we went roller-blading with a friend…we were by far the most experienced skaters out there, just breezing past people, and dodging because no-one else could stop.😝 Felt a bit of Canadian pride there.😄
Our church is just about the same. We can fit 70 people at 30% and that’s more than regular. One big thing right now is what to do about singing, because some people say it’s not allowed. Personally I don’t think the government should tell us we can’t sing (that seems a little overboard), but I don’t want to push things too far and get shut down again. Are there restrictions where you live?
