@steward-of-the-pen Wow, nice. I agree on all of that. *two thumbs up* I hardly ever remember my dreams. One I do remember is a nightmare where I was wandering through a dark mansion which had cages of scary creatures on either side of the path. I kept climbing higher and higher through the mansion, and once I made it to the top floor. (I had that dream on the night before Halloween for several years straight so…there’s that. >.>) Last night I dreamed I went to Disney and there was some sort of island city that had partially sunk beneath the sea (not quite Atlantis, though it sounds like it 😛 ). I also dream about schools, friends, and things that are on my mind before I go to sleep.

@esjohnson Very intriguing prompt! I could see that becoming a story. It seems like that dream would be caused by fear or darkness or something abnormal (sort of like what Steward said).

@pursuewisdom Yep! I agree with what you said about symbolism, since that’s the word that really caught my attention in @j-a-penrose‘s post. It made me think of John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress and the symbolism in that.

Anyway, I’m good with whatever you guys decide for the protagonist and story. I like editing. (I call myself an obsessive editor 😛 )

Some name suggestions (if we need to incorporate a name into the dream somehow). Boy: Nicolai, Gideon, Marcus, Lorcan. Girl: Aristeia, Leah, Callie, Piper.
