Yeah, we did visit The Ark Encounter! We didn’t go to the Creation Museum, but I’ve heard that it’s really cool. I loved the Ark Encounter though! It is definitely my favorite museum.

Okay, that’s good to know! I might try reading the other books in the series soon, now that you reminded me to. 🙂 I already have like 200 books on my TBR list right now though…

Plotting and drafting is always the most fun stage of writing a story (in my opinion at least). That’s great that your sister is helping you with illustrations!

Lol, she’s a much more friendly mermaid. Sirens are the kind of mermaids that try to kill humans, but the mermaids in my book are much nicer. When I started writing this book too, I was younger, so I think that made me want to make it more of a book with less of that evil in it. I’ve considered adding Sirens into the book, but I would still want to keep my character a nice mermaid. Although, if she was part-siren too, then she might have to wrestle with her feelings of malice vs. her feelings of niceness… hmm, hadn’t thought of that before. 🙂
