    @rose-colored-fancy

    One google search later* That’s a really long road trip! That’s from here to Italy! It sounds like you all had a good time!

    Yep, like 13 hours or something.

    You finished? A l r e a d y?? Wow, count me impressed!!! I can’t wait to read it!

    I think one reason I can write for longer periods is that I give the quality of my prose…significantly less thought than most people. xD

    Are you still waiting for beta-readers on TTD? When are you planning to revise it?

    So, here’s the deal. I’ve gone back in forth about it, but I think a first time writing that was written by a guy who hadn’t written a chapter of fiction in his life is better to be used as a practice book. I’m thinking that instead I’ll take y’alls invaluable beta advice and the things I’ve learned and start anew with this series. However, I would like to take the core ideas of TTD and transpose them to another story someday. I might revise it again someday for practice, but I’ll probably just treat it as a practice book.

    LOL, I’m the opposite, too many social interactions and I start considering the perks of Rapunzel’s tower XD Though there’s always that anticlimactic feeling after any kind of visit, that sucks

    Sometimes I think that mindset is better. xD It takes me a while to get back into the daily routine of work and school.

    116 years old iirc! It was built in 1906 but it’s been restored considerably, almost the entire interior, insulation, roof, windows, etc. Some things are still original though, such as the bents and beams. The exterior still looks pretty much original though!

    Nice! Now if only you had a cellar that was built and the middle ages and held untold secrets…

    I was less than thrilled with the whole situation though looking back on it, it’s quite hilarious

    I had a blast reading that story. I especially loved the way you named the horses and gave them human characteristics. Those are some great story telling skills you have. 🙂

    This is a lot of information, but don’t worry about it too much! (I might have gone slightly overboard

    No, thanks for taking the time to write it out, it gives me a lot to chose from. Probably mentioning or briefly describing two or three of those will be enough for my purposes, but I think it’ll help the Jew feel a lot more unique if I can do it properly.

    It could work, but I can’t really tell without reading it. I’ll pay attention to it when I read it!

    Well, I’m about to outline book 2, and I’m pretty torn about this character. I’m leaning towards putting her actual midpoint in book 3 (it just works out a lot better), but I might give her something like a smaller midpoint or slight improvement on the liability scale in book 2.
