Nice. Well keep me updated on y’all’s path to having them finished. 🙂

How dare you make my Hugon get attacked by wolves?! Jk 😄 Throw whatever you want at him, though if I’m not able to write up what he does, I guess we’ll just have to assume he gets eaten. 😆

    Hugon:

Lunging to the side, Hugon let two knives drop from his sleeves and into his hands. The wolf flew past him and skidded to a halt in front of the wall. The poignant scent of fetid hair and dry gore filled his nostrils and he resisted the urge to gag. This day kept getting better and better. Being around other humans was bad enough, but of course, life was always looking for ways to make things worse.

The wolf had turned its glowing yellow eyes on him, and a low snarl emanated from his throat. Blood matted the beat’s midnight hair, and scars crawled along its face like worms.

Hugon relaxed his muscles and readied his stance. “You almost make humans look attractive my bothersome friend.” The wolf crept closer.

“Go eat each other you filthy maggots!” one of his fellows in this wonderful situation yelled. The woman who had been tugging those tassels probably. Yes, it was her, that bothersome imp who called herself Liorah, but they didn’t matter, only getting out of this situation without being carried in a wolf’s stomach did. Speaking of the devil creature, it was drawing closer, the faint candle light gleaming off its pointed teeth. He could almost taste the rancid smells the cursed animal exuded.

In his peripheral vision other figures danced across the room, blades flashing and blood splattering. Explosions came from a dozen or so paces behind him and crimson fur splatted against the stone wall. Those fools had better not get gore on him, he was-

His thoughts were cut off as the wolf lunged, its mouth opened wide. He dropped flat on the ground right and stuck his black bladed knives up like two horns. The beast tried to change course, but not fast enough. He ran his blades along the beasts abdomen, cutting it open like fresh fruit, only what came out was half so pleasant.

The beast groaned and collapsed on top of him. Tensing his body to withstand the weight, he tried not to breath with the black fur tickling his face. He pushed the beast off of him, and slowly got to his feat. No need to look at what his tunic looked like. It would not be pleasant.

He was nearly knocked back to the floor when Liorah bumped into him. “Watch it!” he barked, “I have enough ugly bodies slamming into me for one day.”

Liorah glared at him, wiped her blade on the body of a wolf, and returned to the fight. She could do as she please, he was out of here. He turned to the exit–where a wolf stood staring right at him.

    Blast. The wolf lunged.

Life was just getting better and better.
