Haha the extent of my knowledge on the Pirates of the Caribbean come from memes my best friend sent and joelle-stone’s series analyzing movies (although–via memes–my brother decided I was basically Jake Sparrow minus booze   )

LOL! Second-hand media XD Same, it’s the memes and short clips my best friend sends me XD I

I love the colors and the flow of motion, yes! Lol yes it looks like it took time and care!

Thank you! LOL, yes! By the time I finished the feathers on the black dress my eyes were practically bleeding XD

I definitely am trying to focus on delivery. But I also spent a while listening to/recording clips of the Lion King because Simba’s adult voice is ever so slightly effeminate so I thought it’d be a good place to start. Aaaaand then I got kinda carried away with Disney music (which LOL is so normal in my family I was singing I Just Can’t Wait to Be King loudly and my brother from the other room sings back Zazu’s lines and walks in and then just kinda blinks for a second and says “wait are you filming that?” and that turned into a buncha different songs and all-round total chaos…)

LOL! I can imagine that so vividly XD

LOl, just yesterday I was reading a chapter with Faye and Ferran out loud (Not recording, just to check for mistakes) and I decided to do voices and I thought I was going to die XD Out of all the characters, Faye and Ferran have the highest and lowest voices respectively and there was a ton of dialogue, and switching between them was an absolute nightmare XD I didn’t even go all out with the voices, just a slight change but it was still harder than I thought XD

    Ooooooh that’ll be great!
I have to do a couple more takes on my first chapter and then clean it up and touch it up and survive life but I should have that within a week or so too!

    Awesome!! I can’t wait! 😀

Did you know that Audacity does have features to change your voice or make it sound like it is in a cave, or speed it up, or slow it down?  These features are under the Effects Menu at the top.  Simply highlight the area on the audio wave that you want to “effect”, and choose from the Effects – dropdown menu.
Reverb – makes it sound like the speaker is in a cave
    Echo – well, “echoes”
Pitch – raises or lowers an octave level, so if you want to try giving the effect of a “male” voice, (depending on the age of the speaker), you might try lowering the pitch to see what happens.

Ooh, that’s cool! I’ll have to try it out!
