Thanks for the advice! That does seem very confusing when you don’t know all the background. Most of the missing information is pretty foundational Yelodrian stuff, so in the context of the story a reader would know the characters, what the creatures are, whether they’re good or evil, and what a Beta is. I’ll try to sneak in a bit more background next time so someone who doesn’t know anything about Yelodria won’t be drowning in confusing foreign names 😉
