Well, @erynne, if your heroine dies, the romance certainly won’t go anywhere. While I can see how you could find some resolution to the other elements of your story, and still have her die at the end, but a romance aborted just before it gets off the ground would be even more disappointing (to me) than one that never really got started at all.

My work in progress is the continuation of the love story of two characters who got together in a previous book. Now they’re married, she’s pregnant, and things aren’t going very well. As a matter of fact, I’m looking for early/beta readers for it, so if you’re interested, please let me know!
