Okay, I do have a quick suggestion that sort of fits for both of you. They’re both cool, but I’m not certain how well they fit the task. The first was great, but it seemed more like she was distressed over her inability to take revenge rather than the actual death of her brother, along with the theme/message of revenge being slightly concerning in and of itself. The second, well, as cool as the tense was, it doesn’t really hold heaps of emotion. And we want to make your Guildmaster cry when she reads it.
