Heh, thanks! (One of those glorious moments where it actually pays to be a drama queen XD)
Now I love Ehud even more! And I’m starting to soften up toward Rosario after that, too. She’s not just rock hard.
Man, I wasn’t quite sure how everyone’d respond to that it was a new layer to their characters and I wasn’t sure well that’d pay off. Thanks guys!Chang!
Chang! Chang!
Rosario frowned and disentangled herself from Ehud’s grip enough to shake him a little.
“What possesses you, idiota, to bang the mirrors so any monster will be alerted to our presence?”
“I didn’t do it,” he grumbled peevishly “what makes you think I did it?”
“Ehud..-”
“Don’t answer that!”
“Who is in charge here?” The girl with the bow demanded loudly.
“Million dollar question.” Ehud mumbled. Rosario just shook her head while Ehud peeked over her shoulder. Pushing him off she ruffled his hair before moving into clear view of all the castle victims.
“Right now there is no one in charge. For us to successfully survive this ordeal someone will have to take the reins. Since you so recklessly gave away our position to any beast or person within perhaps a ten miles radius, we will have to establish both a parameter and systemized defense system.” Folding her arms she scans the group and scoffs. “We’ve got a long way to go before we’re half a functional team.”
By the time she had finished Ehud had relocated Riure and held her hand reassuringly. There were several people in the group that seemed used to holding power. This was irritating because they would feel entitled.
“No one here is getting any special treatment.” she said deliberately “right now we’re all in the same position and we better act like it. We share the same hardships and the same rewards and if we’re lucky we live. Understood?”
Probably, this lot wouldn’t be ready to officially accept any leader so she decided not to go there. It would be a matter of watching and waiting to see who’s prerogatives most of them would follow along with.
“Now. Might I suggest that we search in groups of no less then two and no more than four within whatever areas are easily traversed in half and hour. All resources and information found is to be brought back here where we will discuss further plans of actions.” Rosario said sternly, holding eye contact with each member of the group individually. “Unless anyone has a more logical suggestion?”
