Here’s for Kiva, unloved husband and hero of Book Five:

1. how close of a relationship do you have with your extended (cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles) family?

I’m very close with my father’s side of the family, because our farms lie next to each other, and we share the same barns. My cousin Arjun (my father’s brother’s son) is my best friend, and I’m married to his sister my cousin Preen.

2. are you closer with family on your mom’s side or your dad’s side, or is it equal?

Physically, I’m closer to my father’s side. We don’t see much of my mother’s people, because there’s a mountain range between us. But I love visiting them when we can.

3. Would you rather eat super spicy food or completely bland food?

Well, I never thought about it. We eat a lot of bread, sausage and white cheese, which are all bland, I suppose…and wash them down with vodka, which isn’t.
