Alright, pending approval by @ariella-newheart or @anne_the_noob14, I believe that I will add an ex assassin to the group. Here is a character bio for him.
Name: Vrahe Rodina
Age: 37 years old
Birthday: February 29, 2284
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 195 pounds
Hair Color: Naturally jet black, but usually dyed to a less distinctive color such as a dirty blond or mousy brown when working on a job.
Eye Color: Naturally emerald green, sometimes changed using contacts or eye-drops.
Occupation: Ex-assassin. Now lives with his wife and mother and works as a tavern owner.
Parents: His father was killed during a border skirmish. His mother lives with him at the tavern.
Siblings: Had a younger brother and a twin sister. The brother works as an assassin hunter, which led to an estrangement between him and Vrahe. The sister was taken in a slaving run and Vrahe hasn’t seen her since he was 11.
Likes: Peace; Spending time with his family; Hunting; Playing basketball with his friends; Keeping his skills sharp.
Dislikes: Being disrespected; People not taking him seriously; Stupidity; Failing people who trust him; Being reminded of his sister; Authoritarian actions by the government; WASTED ALE!
Character Type: INTP-A
Quirks: Is paranoid about everything; rises at 5:00 every day for a 3 mile swim and 10 mile run; only takes cold showers; can drink anyone under the table, but never gets drunk; Can go from completely calm to raging mad and back within seconds; Acts weaker than he is in order to fool other people; loves classic rock music from the 1980s; Tries to become deadly with any object he comes across.
Strengths: Is a natural leader; Usually makes the right decisions; Normally keeps his temper under control; Works better under pressure; Can read people really well; Is deadly with pretty much any object; Is highly intelligent, both in book and street knowledge; Can heal most wounds to himself, and climb up walls without hand holds.
Weaknesses: Arrogant; Overbearing; Can have eruptions of rage; Level of self esteem can vary wildly, from believing he can do anything to believing he can do nothing; Can be bloodthirsty; Confrontational; Manipulative; Can judge people or situations too hastily; Often tries to show off unnecessarily; No loyalty except to those he truly loves; Does not trust anyone, especially those in authority.
Greatest Strength: Decisions under pressure
Greatest Weakness: (Sometimes he just wants to see the world burn.)
Wants: To live a peaceful life with his wife and mother while running his tavern. To be left alone by the gangs that he worked with. To not be found by the government that wants (and possibly needs) him dead.
Problems: Taoe, the village loudmouth. Keeping his family safe from his past. Avoiding detection by those who want to use him or kill him, but who cannot afford to leave him to his own devices.
Clothes: Vrahe’s casual attire consists of cargo pants and a form fitting t-shirt, both made of assassin’s wool (a fabric which can withstand impacts from both bullets and edged weapons. He wears a calf length black leather trench coat with a hood that can be reversed to have a mottled pattern which allows him to blend into the shadows. For footwear he has a pair of what look like normal running shoes. However, the soles are thin enough he can feel through them, and covered in little rubber nubs that give the shoes better grip.
Items he Normally Carries: Keeps his sword, (Eldur) which will burst into flames at his command, hidden inside his trench coat. A Glock 17 in a shoulder holster and S&W 45 Shield at the small of his back. On his left hip he carries a K-Bar. There is a tactical pen in his right pocket, as well as a zippo lighter. He has a rappelling belt, and keeps a descender as well as some hyper strong rope in the knee pockets of his cargo pants. His back pack is a normal EDC bag with a couple of twists. (I am happy to go into detail on the contents of his bag if anyone wants to know, but I am not going to right now.) Keeps his phone in his left pocket, it can be used as a mobile base for most things he might need to do online. Finally, he has his watch, which includes a garrote wire in the watch band, and a handy sleep gas capsule hidden under the back.
Description in 1 Sentence: “A mix of contradictions wrapped up in perhaps the most dangerous body on earth.”
Character Background: The world Vrahe is constantly at war, mainly due to the government of Gormes Herra, the country where Vrahe lives. Vrahe’s father was killed in a battle when Vrahe was only 2 years old. His father’s best friend in the army, Parrin, took Vrahe under his wing on Vrahe’s 8th birthday and began training him to be a world class assassin. Vrahe’s twin sister was kidnapped by slavers when he was 11, and he blames himself for it. He began his work as an assassin when he was 17 and was accepted as the best in the business by the time he was 19. However, he became too good, and the government began to feel threatened by him. They started coming after him when he was 29. He attempted to stay in the job, but one day a little girl got caught in the crossfire during one of his jobs. His guilt drove him to retirement at the age of 31. Since then, he has started a new life with his wife and mother and became the owner and manager of the tavern in his town. Unfortunately, his older brother, by 3 years, was taken by the government 2 years before Vrahe started his training with Parrin. The government trained Vrahe’s brother to be an assassin hunter, and he was put on Vrahe’s case.
Alright, I think that covers just about everything for Vrahe. I can bring him in as a possible villain if you want me to. He could also be a part of the group if that would be better. Let me know what role you want Vrahe to play in the castle. I look forward to rejoining you guys.
