    Great topic!

I don’t have many (if any) names I made up myself; mostly just ones I modified some. But I do frequently have unnamed characters!

One in particular right now is one of the antagonists in my current WIP. (It’s set roughly around the 1600s, I think. I don’t use the same timeline in the book.) I really don’t have him fleshed out much at all… but what I know about him so far is he’s the commander of most, if not all, of the groups of bounty-hunters (though they aren’t called that in the book) in the country. He’s also (secretly) deep in the child slave market, and oversees groups of kidnappers. He’s very rich, and rather flamboyantly so. He’s the kind of guy who would fire his servant for bringing him tea that’s a few degrees too hot or cold. He pretends to care deeply about the people he has command of, but really all he cares about is money and power. Not power like kingly power… but he wants to keep his position as the guy who tells the bounty-hunters to go arrest/kill so-and-so. Cause then he can basically just be the one who controls the more minor leaders of different cities. (Not gonna go into much more detail than that lol. [Read as: I have nothing else thought of yet.])

So anyways, he needs a villainous/big-shot/regal-ish name. Something to match his flamboyant, rich mannerisms.
