I’m working on trying to draw my characters more, mainly because a passion project of mine (which I haven’t started on yet) is to create a graphic novel. So that’s something I want to work on. So while I draw them, I don’t draw them often enough.

Honestly, the past week has been an exception for me because I used to very rarely draw fan art. I guess I just wanted something quick and easy in learning how to go about my digital art program, which I loooovvveeee.

I’m trying to just now keep a sketchbook because I used to not, but I see the benefits to it. Mostly I just go about doing things on loose paper and just create. That’s really how I go about practicing.

I do some acrylic painting, though I haven’t in a while. Most of my traditional art is ink and copic markers, or just regular pencil. I need to practice with acrylic more. As for watercolor, I admire it, I wish I was good at it, I just haven’t been able to figure it out. (also because I haven’t practiced.)

Right now I’m seeking to improve in drawing people and trying to learn more full-body portraits and different poses.

So, what about you? What mediums do you prefer? What area are you seeking to grow in?
