I don’t really know who to tag on this.

I haven’t read everything on this topic, but what I have read is really good. Thought I’d share one of my poems and get feedback from you all, what you like and don’t like! This one’s called “Amazing Grace”

Three crosses stood on a hill far away

For there was a price to pay

Two men were hung on either side

And both of them deserved to die

But in the center hung a Man

Innocent, pure as a lamb

With every right to be set free

For in the center, they should have hung me

 

Oh, the story of amazing grace!

How a Good Man took a bad man’s place

What can I do but live for Him

Who died to take away my sin

I was saved from a life of waste

When a Good Man took a bad man’s place

 

The pain He felt should have been mine

For all the times I’ve crossed the line

All of my guilt I should have borne

And my sinful body torn

My blood should have been shed

And I for water should have pled

God should have turned His back on me

Instead of buying liberty
