So based on everyone’s favorites so far, here is an idea:

What if we posted a thread where everyone who wanted to participate posted their “writing plan” for the week (like 30 minutes on Monday, and hour on Tuesday, break on Wednesday…etc.) and we had a mini word war of our own? Everyone has the same prompt, but we can choose a word count goal individually if we would like, and everyone’s is to be posted by a certain day/time on a collaborative document. Then, the next week, we could assign critique partners, where basically two people pair up and critique each other’s work, then everyone discusses everything about what all happened, from what we learned in our writing, liked about other people’s works, to whether or not we would want to do a similar activity again.

Thoughts? Any additions or clarifications? I’m thinking it could be an activity that lasts about 2 weeks, but we could stretch up to 4 (half writing, half critique).

It would hit on personal goals, accountability, critiques, and general writing discussion.
