This thread has slowed down a lot but here’s something I wrote recently making fun of poets, which was fun to do. (:

 

CHEESE

A wise man once announced 

His newest deduction:

A lack of cheese in the poetry section,

A statement that promptly led

To a gold rush excursion

Of eager young wordsmiths mining

For a satisfying conclusion.

So now it makes me wonder

If he is pleased

With all these new poems

On the topic of cheese.
