@karthmin @morreafirebird I don’t really know where I was going with this, but here are some thoughts from me.

Going off of the live-interacting-helps-friendships, I think the thing that brought me closest to Erekdale was the Hangouts chats. Spending an hour quoting Marvel at each other was really fun. There isn’t a lot of time to think and polish your words. (As I so generously demonstrated. You’re welcome.) You only have a few seconds to a few minutes to respond.

While it’s not a super close community, it is closer to the general forum. I feel I am closer to the people who chat on Hangouts than those that don’t.
