I totally agree with what everyone is saying! I also apologize for being rather inactive…this is heavily due to the part of me having to shift gears into more ‘serious studying’ for my school part of life since I will be going on to university next year, and I need to have shockingly high marks to achieve that. (As well as try to audition for viola and stuff. Imagine I didn’t play the instrument two years and a half ago.) But I have also learned from being part of the SE Guild that I can be serious about my writing, too! It’s mainly because of the Guild here that I could actually go and finish countless writing projects I otherwise would not have been able to do. So thank you, Jane, for being a stellar Guild master! And I love the weekly themes, even if I forget to talk about it, it has been really useful for me. But I would understand how challenging it is to do that, as well.

It’s funny that the others are mentioning the mentoring since I am on a mentor-hunt as well. I’m also in another writing community where they have scores to measure and can sort of find mentors, but I am finding the scale too large there and I haven’t really found a mentor yet. But I would agree with @mairin-atha that you already have been a great mentor to us!

Overall, I would still love it if the Guilds can continue to function somewhat like this, alwith some changes could be beneficial.
