ABORTION V:
I’m dreaming of a day
When we can all look back
To when abortion was legal
And be sure it’s just the past.

I’m dreaming of a day
When Logic is restored-
When Facts are listed honestly
And Morality isn’t ignored.

I’m dreaming of a day,
In the war where good will win,
Where the Lord will be victorious
Over this battle of sin.

I’m dreaming of a day
When the world will finally see
How abortion was a stain
On America’s history.

I’m dreaming of a day
When it’s wholly recognized
That a fetus is a baby,
No matter what its size.

I’m dreaming of a day,
Once this masquerade is done,
That abortion will mean death
And the light of truth would come.

I’m dreaming of a day
When everyone can see
That there’s nothing just as precious
As a born, living baby!

I’m dreaming of a day
When the world sees pregnancy
As a blessing- not a curse-
A show of God’s great majesty!

I’m dreaming of a day,
When despite a violent act,
Abortion’s not an option
And we won’t shame those attacked.

I’m dreaming of a day,
Once we all can look back when,
And forgive all those who strayed-
Maybe see them in Heaven.

I’m dreaming of a day
When anyone can ask:
“Was abortion wrong?”
And get an immediate yes.

I’m dreaming of a day
When abortion’s dead and gone.
I’ll pray and word to bring it closer…
‘Til the day I dream of is come.
