I think this is all wonderful.

To do some brainstorming, I think that first person will be the easiest by far. If we did it from third person, it would be difficult to get as close to the raw emotion and pain of it all. It could technically be done, but I think first person would be much more powerful.

I think patterning the religious system off of the Baal worship seen in 1 Kings could be interesting, but there are a lot of other options too.

I definitely do not have the time to write this, but I would love to help as I can. I have a cousin who committed suicide, and I’ve personally seen and felt the effects of depression, so I can probably give some input once a draft is written.
