Vicq smiled at his possessive act, but she tried to pull away. Aiden’s grip was steel, though, and Vicq heaved out a great sigh.

A stray scent caught her nose just then, and Vicq tilted up her head to look at Aiden, “There’s someone outside the temple, or, she was.”

His eyebrows furrowed, “How?”

Huxley marveled at the beautiful interior of the temple. It was pouring with ancient writings that she had never seen before, and her response was the rapid-fire sound of her shutter on her camera. Code White was what her temperament was called in Ancient’s training. It was never a truly good range of focus to be in, but you were lulled into it like sleep. the slight clink of Huxley’s sword snapped her back to the vigilance she was almost permanently in since the amulet bonded to her skin.

if the sword was making noise, which was almost impossible due to the nature of the sword, there was danger afoot.

ok, so is Aria canon in your stories, Draven, b/c for Aiden to be a fully-fledge character doesn’t he need some semblance of a story?

I mean, I do have a few un-connected characters that I use for fun sometimes (like my fandom-jumping kitsune, Rei, and my beautiful half-light half-dark alf Crystal, whom you’ve already met) but I just want to know if aria is in any of your stories 🙂
