@april-j-rhys YAY! Welcome back! Glad you like all the stuff we made so far 🙂 Aaaah I love the third character you mentioned!! Gisette would feel so uncomfortable around someone who is working along with people that are planning on destroying her kingdom. It would give some great dynamics!
@h-jones A BIG YES TO EVERYTHING YOU JUST SAID.
– Gisette is pretty social and while I don’t think she would talk about very personal things with Kester at the time, she would probably ask him things like: ‘Goodmorning Kester, have you slept well?’ or ‘Goodevening Kester, How has your day been?’ Nothing more special than the way she would treat other members of the staff. I think that at the beginning she might even have to get used to the idea of having an advisor. But I do think she would trust his judgement as she feels that she still has a lot to learn. But being compassionate as she is, she might not always agree with Kester on social issues. She might even think of him as cold and a bit of a meanie.
– As their journey begins I think she would talk to him waaay more. Mostly because she has to and except for Clarion he is one of her only connections with home. I think she would also start to trust his advice more than she did back at the castle. As she can now see his smartness in action if that makes sense haha. His little skirmishes with Basil would DRIVE HER CRAZY tho. She just wants everyone to get along. She’ll probably start seeing thinking of him as a friend until he makes one of his mean sarcastic remarks again. I can imagine them having a little discussion about this haha.
– I think that Gisette’s feelings about him change the moment she notices Kester is changing and genuinely cares about her. As the princess she is used to people ‘enjoying her company’ her, whether they act like they do or mean it. But once Kester actually opens up a little more I think she’ll start to take a liking in him. She’ll probably love talking to him and maybe even tease him a bit because he tends to be so serious. She’ll probably stop referring to him as ‘my advisor’ and instead call him ‘my friend’. Yet at the same time she would actually start asking him for advice if she really struggles with something. The moment he saves her from falling will probably be a big turning point for her. She has been having this fear for years and this guy who is slowly becoming her friend just saved her from it. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE FIRST TIME HE REALLY MAKES HER LAUGH THOUGH.
After that Gisette will be all: ‘You’ve changed, you know that?’
Kester: ‘Is that a good or a bad thing?’
Gisette: *starts laughing again*
