@h-jones YAY! King Jorah and queen Evolet is shall be! I kinda like Evolet a bit more too. It has a similliar feel to Gisette so that fits perfectly!

I do like to think the villain will have a reason to be doing what he’s doing. It doesn’t have to be a good reason, he can just be a big meanie, but I feel like he needs motivation ya know. He could just be hungry for power, maybe he has a reason to want the kingdom of Ancore in particular?

BUT GUYS MAAAYBEEEE he is raiding and conquering all these kingdoms because of some kind of ore that is found in the earth that ACTUALLY POWERS THE TECHNOLOGY HE USES. And the more of these glowy rocks he has, the more technology he can make and the more powerfull it will be. Like a fantasy kind of electricity. What if he harvests them by using his weather machine which destroys most of the island he visits. This way the farming land would be completely ruined making people once again depend on his technology. Like he’s building his own kingdom.

ALSO what if he actually did lose a loved one because of the height of the islands AND THAT’S WHY HE MADE HIS MECHANICAL WINGS. This would mirror with Gisette who almost lost het mother, is afraid of heights because of this and now desperately wants more technology in her country so that they’ll be safer.
