I’m only wondering if Kester would actually ask if Basil was okay. At the beginning (before his character arc) he’s an actual definition of jerk—not in the sense that he doesn’t care (he does, though BARELY), but because it SEEMS like he doesn’t (partly because he’s so distracted by everything he’s taking in/processing thoughts and whatnot).

Also since Basil and Kester start off on the wrong foot, it’d be funny if (from Basil’s POV) Kester was a huge jerkwad and snatched his stuff like “what’s this garbage” whilst in Kester’s POV the heroics of saving Basil’s life are emphasized. But idk if Basil would be the type to stretch the truth based on personal biases, though 😂

What if the VERY BEGINNING of the comic is all the characters packed in a room and the King is there and he’s all stressed and he ends up asking how everything went from everyone’s different POV?

not sure who would illustrate that part—maybe all of us would draw our own character 🤔 but that could get complicated. Anyway.

I feel like we sort of discussed this but didn’t make it super official so i thought I’d bring it up again so we can have a clear picture of how it starts <333
