@h-jones OOOHH THEY’RE ALL ADORABLE!! Clarion making music for Basil is so precious! Kester and Basil awkwardly sitting next to each other made laugh xD
AWW Kester hugging Gisette though <3 But yep! Gisette is pretty emotional! Mostly because she always assumes something ‘wont be that bad’ and get’s dissapointed because of it.
And I don’t mind you tagging me! I wanna see it all you guys xD
@the-fledgling-artist I’m so glad you both like the float islands you guys!! I just wanted to figure out what it might look like! Also YESSS to them using Basil’s boat. The king might notice it if one of his ships went missing so it would be a good idea :’)
GUYS I FINALLY FINISHED GISETTE’S HISTORY.
Anyhow, here it is. Maybe this could bring up some ideas.
Gisette was born in the royal family where she grew up with her father and her ten year older brother. Her mother passed away when Gisette was still a baby. She does not remember her and she never felt as if she missed something. Workers and handmaidens at the castle would take care of her if her loving father was busy. Something that did impact her life greatly were the raids on the capital when she was only a 6 year old. She does not remember much of the violence as she was hiding most of the time. What she does remember was seeing her older brother fall to his death as he was pushed from the island while bravely fighting for his life.
This is how Gisette’s fear for heights came into existence. She’ll feel comfortable in the big airships, but she’ll never stand close tot the edge of an island. Suddenly she was the one next in line for the throne. It is no longer just about learning to dance pretty and courtesy, she is now learning how to rule a country. This has left Gisette with a need to prove she’s worthy to be queen some day.
OKAY HERE ARE SOME IDEAS THAT CAME UP WHILE I WRITE THIS.
What if the reason Basil joins the group is because he is the one that noticed the weather machine as he was traveling to make his maps? Maybe he wanted to tell the king about this but noticed he wasn’t there and that’s how he got stuck with the squad? Or if he wouldn’t do that because of his social issues, maybe palace guards overheard him if he was somehow talking about it?
We also need to figure out the villain a bit.
HERE’S SOMETHING REALLY CRAZY SO FEEL FREE TO TELL ME IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT. We don’t have to do this at all. Just a thought that crossed my mind and I’m open to anything else.
What if Gisette’s brother turns out to be the villian. What if he faked his death. What if he never liked the strict rules on technology and he knew his father would never choose him as the new ruler because of it. WHAT IF Kester’s dad was the one to give him the plans for the weather machine and that’s why the king send the advisor away.
Once again, I’m just brainstorming and I’m open to any other ideas. 🙂
