Oh. My. Word. My dear girl, you just made my day. I wish you were here because I would clobber you in one of my famous hugs that short people find lethal and nearly end up with both of us falling all over the floor. XD

Well, to tell the truth, I’m just going, WHAT??? You looked up this old thread to tell me this??? Oh my dear girl, you are amazing!! <3 I read this thread and go,”Oh honey, was’t I melodramatic this fine day,” but at the same time, I was literally terrified. I don’t know what it is, but needles are one of my worst nightmares. They’re just about the only physically harming (if you can call it that) thing that I’m afraid of. Well, if there’s a mean dog within biting range, I’m scared of that too, but that’s an entirely different sort of fear. So, everybody who encouraged me that day really really helped so much!! And even though it’s late, this was absolutely touching, @anne-of-lothlorien . <3

O.K. So, laughing gas, the scariest part about it for me is that I’m going to have a ring around my nose messing up my make up after they take the mask off. XD For some reason it’s actually sort of fascinating (especially if you have Howard Shore soundtracks going in your earbuds at the same time). Like, it’s so funny to reflect on your weird thoughts afterwards and just some of the experiences I’ve had have been so odd, they give great writing inspiration. But really, it helps make my already too-high-strung brain (which is me even just looking at a picture of a needle) be calm enough to not run for my life. 😉

But I’d call you the brave one!!! Seriously, LG is just if you want it great, if you don’t want it fine, but needles… For some reason things like that just make me shiver. Small wounds will bother me much, much more than big ones. Like… My dad and I just watched Gladiator this week…

*Explosion promptly goes off* It is THE BEST MOVIE EVER ASIDE FROM LOTR PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!! It, wow, was SO AMAZING!!!!! But a LOT of people die, and you see a bit more blood in it so… However, it wasn’t the fighting or big wounds that made me cringe in that film, it was the scene where a guy uses a sharp rock to scrape a tattoo off his arm. That made me cringe. So in the end, fearlessly allowing somebody to stick a slender shaft of metal into your arm to inject who-knows-what or draw blood, honey, I’d call YOU the brave one!!!

I agree, medical is super fascinating, I love doctoring wounds on my siblings, and whenever I get a substantial wound, bruise or whatever, my first thought is, “O.K. let’s see how nasty this thing is and how ugly it will get.” and as soon as the cut/bruise starts to leave, I’m thinking, “Aww, man, there goes my battle scar…” XD

Oh my stars… @anne-of-lothlorien …. I totally hope that we’ll be able to keep up a little better on here because 1. I’ve missed my SE friends and haven’t been on as much lately because life is now a tornado of never-ending craziness 2. @evelyn , @eden-anderson , you and @wordsmith and my Tolkien Friend were my best friends last December when I was feeling pretty glum and lonely due to some stuff going on with my friends (which has now cleared up a lot and though some things have changed, I’m grateful for the change) 3. Y’all are awesome, I love discussing, debating, and just y’all making me laugh. I’ve missed being on here with y’all…

I love y’all and really, really hope that I can get to hear from y’all more often!!!! <3 <3 <3

I’m so grateful for y’all!!!!! *Sends giant hugs*
