Hey guys, I’ve noticed a couple of things. First, there hasn’t been much going on in Camp Artifex lately. Second, my drawings of people have been really stiff, and my poses have been very limited and unoriginal lately. So… Maybe we can kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

I’m challenging myself to do 1,000 gesture drawings before the end of next month. (Yes… that’s a really big scary number. I honestly have no idea how doable it is, but I wanna try.) (This is around 28 gestures a day?)

If any of you have noticed a similar problem in your own artwork, I invite you to join me in doing this. 😀 Whether it be with the same goal, or a lower one. (or if you’re completely crazy you could try an even bigger number.)

Or if you’d like, you could challenge yourself to do 1,000 of something else that you need to work on. (Faces, still lives, skulls, eyes, etc.)

What do you guys think? I know this sounds kind of crazy, but you have to know when you try something like this, it always pays off. Work= progress, sadly I’m not aware of any other equations with the same result.

of course, if everyone is too busy I understand that too.
