    @karthmin Thank you.

    @mblangerauthor I named my rock badger Pepper too(I started last night, but had to finish this morning). 😀
    Interesting story by the way.

    @princess-foo I thought it was supposed to be the writer, so we get to know each other better, and cause it says, “You’re”. That’s what I did.
    ooooooh…. That’s interesting.

    @thetessinator *bursts out laughing* That is lovely. 😀

    Alrighty… Here’s mine…

    I tripped on the hem of my dress, but quickly stopped myself from falling. “Stupid heels.” I mutter at them. Why do I have to wear these things? I felt the wet on my hand and saw the spill on the floor before I looked up to see the bright red splash on the prince’s white shirt. I froze. My stomach dropped to the floor and I heard everyone go silent. My brain rushed to try and think of what could happen next as my hands grew clammy. Shut up brain. This is it. The prince will get mad at me and call for a war. Wars have been started over smaller things. Politics are stupid. Why can’t our countries just be friends instead of making my wear heels and marry some prince who rules the country I grew up hating? I looked up at his face to gauge his reaction. He was just staring at his shirt with a bit of a stunned expression on his face. He wasn’t mad, at least right now. Which was good. The red spot started to turn gray in my vision. That’s not good. Sure enough I could smell his uncertainty. Pepper tugged on my ear to tell me I was changing. I petted her thick soft fur to let her know that I knew. I had gotten better at telling when I started to accidentally change. Inhaling a deep breath I tried to calm myself and focus on being a normal human. But then the Prince looked at me. Judging by the fact his face went whiter than paper and that I can no longer see red, my eyes are yellow again. Cat eyes. The perfect way to get anyone to accidentally think you’re evil… At least I didn’t grow my wings. We stared at each other for what felt like forever, before a servant rushed over with a damp towel to clean up the mess. Okay, last chance. If you change your eyes now he may think he’s just seeing things. I focused on clearing my vision before anyone else saw. The colors came back just as the servant finished making the Prince’s shirt not as bad.
    I released a tense sigh. I should say something. Errr. What was the last thing I said? Did I say, ‘Stupid heels’ out loud? Oh, great.
    The servant was done with the floor spill now. He took my glass and left.
    Clearing his throat the prince broke the silence. “So, you’re the princess?”
    I nodded. Quick think of a good response! Don’t be so awkward! “And you’re the prince?”
    “Yeah.” The prince shifted his feet. Around the room people started talking again.
    A minute passed. “I don’t actually like wine.” Argh! What sort statement is that? You sound like someone who just complains! My stupid brain decided this was a good time to quote me in a mocking tone. I don’t like heels. I don’t like wine. I don’t like politics. Der, der, der. A smile grew on my face.
    “Me either.” The prince said looked over at the door. “I should probably go change.”
    “Yeah.” Did I apologize yet? I don’t think I did. I’m a terrible person. Why didn’t I apologize already? “I really sorry.”
    “It’s fine I have other shirts.” He turned and headed for the door.
    “Okay…”

    The End…
