KnapHello everyone! A few random thoughts:

I’m really getting this idea that Knaphollow is less a place and more a group of nomads seeking a better home. @heather-drabant, your thoughts were beautiful! I love the idea of seeking out a crest on a hill and leaving a dark hollow (our old life) behind. I’ll be praying for you, sister. I can only imagine how tough that is.

Perhaps each person could have a “function”, if you will, in the land/people of Knaphollow, based on our skills in writing. I could totally be the music-maker of Knaphollow, remembering and singing the songs of “old” (i.e., poems that pop into my head). Maybe someone else can be the Navigator (someone who excels at worldbuilding), a “people-reader” (someone who has a knack [knack-hollow] for characters), etc. What do you think?

@kari-karast, your imagery made me laugh! I’m also getting this image we’re a jolly group of folks who walk around wearing knapsacks.

Do we have any artists in the guild? It’d be fun to have some drawings of our world. I would do it myself, but I stink at art, and no one wants to see a stick-figure rendition of Knaphollow. 🙂
